Delete pages from a PDF online

Runs in your browser — this file is never uploaded

Get rid of the pages you do not want — a blank page left in by a scanner, a duplicate, an ad page in the middle of a download. Add your file and every page appears as a thumbnail, so you can see exactly what you are removing before you commit.

Your file never leaves your device. The pages are drawn and the new document rebuilt entirely in your browser, so nothing is uploaded, stored, or scanned.

The same panel also lets you reorder pages while you are here, since removing and reordering are the same underlying operation — but if reordering is the whole job, Organize PDF is written for that instead.

or drop them here — nothing is uploaded

How to delete pdf pages

  1. Add your PDF

Drop one PDF into the box, or click to browse. Every page is drawn as a thumbnail so you can see what you are working with.

  2. Remove the pages you do not want

Click the ✕ on a page to take it out. Removed pages are listed underneath with a Restore button, so a page dropped by mistake can be put straight back.

  3. Rebuild and download

Press Delete PDF Pages. The new document is assembled containing only the pages you kept.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The page thumbnails are drawn in your browser and the new PDF is assembled there too, so the file stays on your device. You can confirm this by opening your browser devtools Network tab while working — there are no upload requests.

Does deleting pages reduce quality on the pages I keep?

No. Pages are copied from the original document rather than re-created, so nothing is re-encoded at any point. Text stays selectable and searchable, and images keep their original resolution.

I deleted the wrong page. Can I get it back?

Yes. Removed pages appear in a list under the thumbnails with a Restore button on each, and nothing is actually changed until you press Delete PDF Pages. Your original file is never modified either way — you always get a new document to download.

How is this different from Organize PDF?

They share the same panel — Organize PDF is the reorder-and-delete tool, and this page is the same functionality pointed at the more common single job of just removing pages, without needing to think about reordering at all.

How many pages can it handle?

That depends on your device rather than on any limit we set, since everything happens in your browser. A few hundred pages is comfortable on a desktop.

Can I delete pages from a password-protected PDF?

Not directly. A PDF with an open password has to be unlocked first, using a password you know. Once unlocked, it works like any other file.
