These terms are short because the service is simple: free tools that process files on your own device. By using pdfcasa.com you agree to them; if you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The service
PDFCasa provides free tools for working with PDF and image files. The tools run in your browser and are provided free of charge. We may add, change, or remove tools — or the service as a whole — at any time, and we do not guarantee that the site will always be available.
Your files
Your files are yours. The tools process them locally on your device, we never receive them, and we claim no rights over anything you put in or anything a tool produces. You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to process them.
Keep your originals. Results are generated on your device and nothing is stored on our side, so we cannot recover a file for you. Check that a result is what you expect before deleting the source — especially for documents that matter.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to process content you have no right to use;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload the service;
- access the service with automated systems in a way that burdens it;
- resell the service or present it as your own.
Intellectual property
The site's text, design, and code belong to the operator of pdfcasa.com or its licensors. Using the tools does not transfer any of that to you — just as it transfers none of your rights in your files to us.
No warranty
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any conversion, compression, or edit will be accurate or fit for your particular purpose. These are free tools; apply your own judgment before relying on a result for anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of pdfcasa.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, files, or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service — which, for the free tools, is nothing. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Third-party services
The site is delivered by Cloudflare and, once advertising is live, shows ads served by Google. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies, described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
